Diocesan Lay Readers & Catechists Formation Day 2026
This annual formation day brings together lay readers and catechists from all 72 parishes of the ACK Diocese of Mbeere for a day of prayer, learning, and renewal. It is an opportunity to deepen understanding of the Anglican faith and to be equipped with practical tools for handing it on.
Theme for 2026
"Go, therefore, and make disciples of all nations" (Matthew 28:19) — The Lay Reader and Catechist as Missionary Disciple.

Parish priests are requested to submit the names of all active lay readers and catechists to the Diocesan Office by 22 August 2026.
