Diocesan Youth Ministry
The Kenya Anglican Youth Organisation (KAYO) is the youth wing of the ACK Diocese of Mbeere, active in every parish. Founded in 1962, KAYO exists to reach and equip young people to transform society with the Gospel.
Motto: Be strong in the Lord
What we do
- Spiritual formation — parish worship, Bible study, retreats, and diocesan conferences
- Mentorship — personal development and discipleship for young people
- Community service — mission outreach, environmental work, and parish activities
- Livelihoods — entrepreneurial training and income-generating projects
- Sports & culture — music festivals, sports events, and fellowship gatherings
Membership
KAYO is open to young Anglicans aged 13–35. Join through your local parish KAYO coordinator or speak to your priest after Sunday service.
Students
Anglican university and college students are served through the Anglican Students' Fellowship (ASF-K) — You are the salt and the light of the world.
