Mission Statement
Our Mission
About Our DioceseTo proclaim the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ in word and deed, to nurture disciples through the sacraments and fellowship of the Church, and to serve the people of Embu County and beyond with justice, compassion, and the transforming love of God.
Vision
Our Vision
A Diocese fully alive in faith — where every household is touched by the Gospel, every child has access to Christian education, and every community experiences the Church as a servant presence.
We envision a Diocese that is financially sustainable, governed with integrity, and recognised as a trusted voice for justice and human dignity in Embu County and the broader Kenya Church.
"I came that they may have life, and have it abundantly."

Core Values
Faith
Rooted in the Scriptures and the apostolic faith of the Church, we hold fast to the Lord Jesus Christ as the Way, the Truth, and the Life.
Integrity
We pursue transparency and accountability in all our dealings — financial, pastoral, and administrative — as a witness to the Gospel we proclaim.
Compassion
We respond to human need with the heart of Christ, giving priority to the poor, the sick, the orphaned, and the marginalised in our community.
Stewardship
We hold all resources — human, financial, and environmental — as a sacred trust from God, to be managed wisely for the benefit of present and future generations.
Unity
We celebrate the diversity of our parishes and communities while holding firmly to the bonds of fellowship that unite us as one Diocese in one Church.
Excellence
In worship, education, healthcare, and governance we pursue the highest standard, giving our best as an offering to God and a service to the people we serve.
2024 – 2030
Strategic Priorities
Evangelism and Church Growth
Plant new congregations, strengthen existing ones, and equip every member for personal witness in their home, workplace, and community.
Christian Education and Formation
Invest in catechesis, Sunday school, theological training for lay leaders, and the quality of ACK-sponsored schools across the diocese.
Healthcare and Community Development
Expand community health outreach, provide clean water, and partner with communities on sustainable livelihood programmes.
Good Governance and Financial Sustainability
Build diocesan income through planned giving, property development, and institutional partnerships — reducing dependency on external grants.
Youth and Women Empowerment
Create purposeful programmes for young people and women that integrate spiritual formation, leadership development, and economic empowerment.
Care for Creation
Respond to the climate crisis through tree-planting, environmental education, and advocacy — living out our calling as stewards of God's creation.
